Jordan's Dream

Hi, my name is Jordan Lefton and I have been dancing since I was 5-years-old.  What started out as a way to keep me busy while my sister was dancing, has truly turned into my passion in life.

I started dancing at the Thomas Dance Studio in Lake Worth, Florida, in 1998.  My sister, Lindsey, had already been dancing there since 1994.  I have danced every school year and will finish this year with a performance at my annual dance recital.  When I was 10 years old I auditioned for Encore! Dance Company, the in-house dance company of the Thomas Dance Studio and was accepted.  As a member of Encore! I was able to perform more and really found that I loved dance.  When I was 13-years-old I auditioned for Florida Dance Master's Main Attraction Dance Company and was accepted.   Main Attraction also gave me additional performance opportunities.

When it was time for me to enter high school, I couldn't think of a better place to go than Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach.  This is a very prestigious arts school that one has to audition for and be accepted into in order to be able to attend.  I was thrilled to find out that I had actually made it in.  This was truly a turning point in my life.  Dreyfoos has exposed me to many well known choreographers and has prepared me for my future in dance.  These past four years have gone so fast and I can't believe that I am now ready to start my college career.
